DESIGN
From the initial idea through to the finished design, I help plan and develop bespoke dry stone features with careful consideration given to materials, construction methods and timescales.
dry stone walling
Traditional dry stone walling, built by hand with an understanding of the stone, landscape and purpose of each project. From boundary and retaining walls to gateways, arches, steps and more complex features.
LETTER CUTTING
Traditional hand-cut lettering for house names, plaques, memorials and bespoke inscriptions. Each piece is individually laid out and carved by hand, giving every inscription its own character.
water features
Bespoke water features created from natural stone, from flowing features built into dry stone walls to tranquil streams, waterfalls and boulder features designed around ponds and natural pools.
stone dressing
Hand-dressed stonework for architectural and landscape features, carefully shaped to suit each project. From window and door surrounds to fireplaces, mantels, troughs and bespoke stonework.
restoration
Careful restoration of traditional stonework, breathing new life into existing features while preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original work.
